What You Will Do

The Senior Accountant will maintain accuracy and integrity of general ledger, ensure GAAP compliance in financial statements. Lead month-end close process, prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts. Manage Accounts Receivable from invoicing to collections. Support Controller and team with process improvement initiatives. Provide management with decision-making information. Collaborate cross-functionally for month-end information gathering. Contribute to accurate and timely financial and non-financial reporting. Adopt continuous improvement approach to streamline close and audit preparation. 
HYBRID ROLE: In the office 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and ensure that financial statements are GAAP compliant.
• Be a leader in the month-end close process. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Responsible for Payroll
• Support Controller and the team with improvement initiatives, including processes, procedures, automation changes.
• Provide management with information vital to the decision-making process.
• Contribute to the accounting department’s accurate and timely reporting of all financial and non-financial reports.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and work with multiple teams in gathering information for month end.
• Adopt a continuous improvement approach to refine and streamline the close and audit preparation process.
• Support annual audits, provide requested PBC’s, and help drive to completion.

• 4 years of related experience
• Professionalism and ability to communicate well at any level
• Proven record of meeting deadlines and job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, in Accounting or related field

• CPA license preferred
• Excellent ERP software user and administration skills (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Paychex a plus

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range is $75,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include 401K with company match, Flexible Vacation Policy, Health Benefits, Investment in Professional and Personal Development, and much more.
