What You'll Do:

• Conduct trials, tests, and experiments to support engineering, manufacturing, and R&D activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to develop innovative process formulas and technologies.
• Establish equipment specifications and improve manufacturing techniques, leveraging your expertise in chemistry, biochemistry, enzymology, PCR, and process automation.
• Support project needs related to freeze-drying, buffer/master mix formulations, and oligonucleotide manufacturing.
• Operate in compliance with company policies, communicate with vendors, and generate technical documentation.

What you need to be successful:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
• 5 years of directly related experience OR a higher-level degree with less experience.
• Experience in an FDA-regulated industry, process engineering, analytical chemistry, PCR, or manufacturing scale-up.
• Exceptional collaboration, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information:

Comfortable wearing PPE correctly throughout the day including wearing a Purifying Air Personal Respirator (PAPR) and operating heavy machinery.

Domestic travel required approximately 10% of the time, and international travel required approximately 5% of the time.
