Manager of Brand Management – Job Description

As Manager of Brand Management, you will be responsible for developing and executing brand initiatives to drive awareness, engagement, and loyalty both inside and outside of the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to lead brand development, positioning, and messaging efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a cohesive brand experience. As Manager of Brand Management, you will be the brand’s custodian, ensuring consistency and impact across all touchpoints.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with marketing leadership to launch and extend the Bio-Techne brand strategy to shape and communicate our vision and mission, working to establish the company as a thought leader in key areas of focus.
• Lead of team of brand marketers responsible with creating internal and external campaigns designed to achieve brand growth.
• Lead brand architecture migration workstreams with multiple business units.
• Develop and implement internal and external brand strategy campaigns aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the development of Brand messaging initiatives and content execution for key executives to establish and extend thought leadership and community building within the life sciences industry.
• Conduct research to understand market trends and customer preferences. Monitor industry and competitor movement, augmenting team knowledge and approach to emerging trends.
• Partner with Enterprise Marketing, Product Marketing, Content Strategy, Human Resources, Customer Service and Sales to educate and extend the brand across all teams who support the customer and employee experience.

• Collaborate with creative teams to develop brand guidelines and assets.
• Continuously monitor brand performance and perception to optimize strategies and lead annual benchmarking work with an external vendor.
• Contribute to reinforcing Bio-Techne’s cultural values of Empowerment, Passion, Innovation and Collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field of study required.
• 10 years of directly applicable experience, building brand marketing from the ground up, successfully.
• Proven experience in global brand management, ideally with high M&A activity
• Demonstrated experience in launching and extending brand guidelines and education for highly matrixed organizations.
• Skilled at navigating brand architecture change with multiple stakeholders to ensure clear communication and process.
• Strong strategic thinking, storytelling, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using market research and analytics tools.
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience in building strong teams and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
