Brand Marketing Manager – Job Description

The Senior Brand Campaign Manager / Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for creating multichannel campaign plans strategically designed to drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty both inside and outside of the organization.

The position requires the ability to interface with company leaders, marketing, sales, and customer service colleagues; complete research into industry trends and public perception; and aid the creation of marketing and advertising campaigns to strengthen brand affinity.

The incumbent will translate business KPIs into brand marketing strategies and promotional campaigns that achieve those objectives, in partnership with internal SMEs. Upon plan completion, the incumbent will work with an internal agency to create, execute, and monitor the performance of campaigns, adjusting as needed to achieve plan goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Brand leadership to develop an annual brand campaign plan and related campaign briefs targeting internal or external audiences that accomplish desired awareness and perception goals. Proactively develop campaigns to maintain public image while identifying valuable opportunities to extend reach.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise marketing and Content strategy colleagues to ensure Brand representation in company-wide content calendars and large events.
  • Plan and manage campaign budget related to external advertising channels. Partner with assigned digital specialist on additional digital channel spend.
  • Measure and report performance of all campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
  • Monitor market trends, research customer markets and competitors’ activities

Qualifications


Qualifications (Senior Campaign Manager)

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required.
  • 5 years of marketing-related experience, in positions of increasing responsibility
  • 5 years of marketing plan and campaign development experience, with demonstrated success in cultivating strategy from goals and insights, designing objectives for key audience engagement and selecting channels for messaging that deliver results.
  • Proven ability to develop brand strategies and communicate recommendations to executives.
  • Demonstrated experience bringing innovative and creative ideas on how to best reach target audiences.
  • Ability to use data to provide insights into customer engagement and channel effectiveness.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work with multiple stakeholders who are globally dispersed and build good working relationships.
  • Adaptable to change and able to pivot to accommodate changes in the market and business landscape.
  • Highly organized self-starter with the ability to meet tight deadlines while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent presentation skills, experience preparing and delivering talks, and communicating effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working with various marketing tools required, including but not limited to:
    • Content Management Systems (CMS), preferably Drupal.
    • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, preferably Salesforce.
    • Email Marketing systems, preferably Marketo.
    • Metrics and data visualization tools, preferably Domo.
    • SEO tools, preferably Google Analytics.
    • Marketing Work Management systems, preferably Monday.com.

Qualifications (Marketing Manager)

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required.
  • Experience with a life sciences company preferred.
  • 8 years of brand marketing experience, in positions of increasing responsibility
  • 8 years of brand marketing and campaign development experience, with demonstrated success in cultivating strategy from goals and insights, designing objectives for key audience engagement and selecting channels for messaging that deliver results.
  • Demonstrated experience bringing innovative and creative ideas on how to best reach target audiences.
  • Provide guidance to other team members on strategy, tactical optimization, and process.
  • Ability to use data to provide insights into customer engagement and channel effectiveness.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work with multiple stakeholders who are globally dispersed and build good working relationships.
  • Adaptable to change and able to pivot to accommodate changes in the market and business landscape.
