Bio-Rad is Hiring a Quality control specialist Near Irvine, CA

In this role as a QC Specialist , you will be required to support the implementation of ELN (electronic lab notebook) as part of Labware LIMS to support the data entry, labeling of samples, and coordination / scheduling of required testing to support the direction towards a central QC lab.

This person will support the Labware team with implementation of products into LIMS to support production.

How You'll Make An Impact :

  • Perform and oversee data entry processes and ensure data integrity.
  • Perform maintenance tasks including, but not limited to : account maintenance, periodic review of account, system audit, perform backups, and updates.
  • Manage database structures such as data entry forms, templates, and workflows
  • Assist with product builds, validation, configuration, customization, and implementation to meet the changing needs of the laboratory.
  • Collaborate with R&D and QC to identify opportunities to streamline processes to improve efficiency.
  • This position will work independently and in a small team-oriented environment.

What You Bring :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a life science or related field.
  • 0-2 years in a general laboratory environment performing analyses in the areas of chemistry, immunoassay,hematology or immunology.
  • Experience with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Experience with LIMs (database management, querying, and scripting).
  • Broad understanding of laboratory and chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

Compensation : The estimated base salary range for this position is $66,560 - $80,800 at the time of posting. This range is inclusive of all geographic locations within the United States.

Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.

This position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
