Overview:
The AV Quality Control Technician I performs quality control procedures in the time allotted in Nationwide’s QC Handbook on all audio and visual rental equipment and assists the warehouse as needed. This position reports to the local Office Manager.
Essential Functions:

o Support all warehouse functions including: palletizing, de-palletizing, in-bound/outbound order verification, shipping/receiving duties (including lift truck and box operation), etc. as needed. o Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned area(s). Conform to 6S process. Technical Competencies:
Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
Work Environment:
Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and warehouse environments and is regularly exposed to heavy machinery and noise.
This role routinely used standard office equipment such as computers, phone, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and required standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of office operation are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm. Working 40 hours per week with occasional evening and weekend work required as job duties demand as well as a 24/7 rotational on-call schedule.
Travel:
Travel may be required for this position as mandated by the needs of the 11 Nationwide locations which would include out-of-area and overnight travel.
