Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical Unit in Alabama

Calling all passionate and dedicated RNs! We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate must have 2 years of experience medical-surgical unit and patient care in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating clinical expertise and compassion.

Contract Duration – 13 weeks Contract.

Unit- Medical-surgical / telemetry

Schedule: Night 4x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)48hrs week.
NOTE - candidates who wants 3x12 can also apply 36hrs week

Facility location - 809 University Boulevard East Tuscaloosa, AL 35401

What You Will Do:
Job Specific Responsibilities:

Conduct family planning consultations and provide education on reproductive health.

Perform physical examinations and assessments to evaluate patients' health status. Utilize diagnostic evaluation tools to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.

Demonstrate proficiency in aseptic techniques to prevent infections and promote patient safety.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.

Apply physiology knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Perform suturing procedures as needed for wound management.

Familiarity with medical coding practices to ensure accurate billing and documentation.

Provide nursing care in a variety of settings including nursing homes or long-term care facilities.

Implement infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.
