Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical Unit in Round Rock TX 78681

Calling all passionate and dedicated RNs! We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate must have 2 years of experience medical-surgical unit and patient care in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating clinical expertise and compassion.

Contract Duration – 13 weeks

Contract type- Travel contarct (50 miles Radius rule)

Unit- Medical-surgical

Schedule:Days 7am to 7pm

Facility location - Round Rock TX 78681

What You Will Do:

Job Specific Responsibilities:

- Conduct family planning consultations and provide education on reproductive health.

- Perform physical examinations and assessments to evaluate patients' health status.

- Utilize diagnostic evaluation tools to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.

- Demonstrate proficiency in aseptic techniques to prevent infections and promote patient safety.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.

- Apply physiology knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

- Perform suturing procedures as needed for wound management.

- Familiarity with medical coding practices to ensure accurate billing and documentation.

- Provide nursing care in a variety of settings including nursing homes or long-term care facilities.

- Implement infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.

What You Will Need:

License /certification

BLS obtained from American heart association (AHA)

ACLS obtained from American heart association (AHA)

NIHSS Certification

RN license

Pay: $45.00 - $51.00 per hour
