OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
BikeHub is a small, Bay-Area-based company, focused on supporting bicycle commuters and anyone who uses bikes as transportation. Our BART Bike Stations are a project by BART and the city to provide free, secure public bicycle parking. BikeHub’s repair business and retail sales help offset operating costs.
We’re hiring for an Operations Coordinator. This is a full-time job, averaging 40 hours a week. Work is usually between 7am and 7pm on weekdays. Compensation is $68,000 annually, and benefits include:
About the Operations Coordinator position
The Operations Coordinator will lead BikeHub’s bike parking and retail sales operations, coordinating and performing remote customer support, retail management (online and in-store), managing the web and digital tools for scheduling and coordination of locations and staff, and filling in as necessary at retail locations. The Operations Coordinator is expected to have strong client communication skills, proficiency in digital environments and organization, multi-tasking and adherence to deadlines, and scheduling flexibility.
This position will be a combination of desk work, retail shifts, and on-the-field site work in the East Bay, San Francisco, on the peninsula and occasionally as far as Sacramento. Most of the travel can be done by public transit but there will be some driving. It will require occasional evening and weekend work, sometimes on short notice.
