The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for incoming and outgoing inventory, warehouse transitions, inventory control, part deliveries to production areas and shipping customer orders on time.

We offer a 5-day work week and no late evenings

Position Summary:

Processes inbound/outbound shipments in accordance with procedures and ensures inventory controls are maintained.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform receiving functions on all inbound shipments.
• This ranges from small packages (2 lbs. to 50 lbs. boxes) and occasionally a pallet of materials
• Enter data into our computer software system (Lightspeed Evolution) and other applications (Amazon, UPS, FedEx, eBay, etc.)
• Receives all orders into the operating system as directed
• Work with delivery drivers to safely load and unload boxes and/or pallets
• Accurately distribute product to designated departments in a timely fashion
• Puts stock parts away in their proper location
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Supports the parts department operations in all aspects of order fulfillment
• Maintain an organized, clean, and hazard-free work area
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Shipping & Receiving Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent oral and written skills
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Reliable and dependable
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Must have strong computer user knowledge
• Mathematical skills to accurately record counts
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Required)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand on feet continuously during working shift
• Frequent bending, walking, kneeling, and reaching
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and hand truck

Work Environment

• Occasional conditions include heat, cold, wetness, and humidity
• Frequent working with and around others
• Frequent exposure to chemicals
• Noise level is low to high
