We offer a 5-day work week (Saturdays are required), no late evenings

Position Summary:

Responsible for selling parts at the dealership

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service and parts knowledge to all our internal and external customers
• Assist customers in person or over the phone with purchasing the correct parts for their vehicle needs
• Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
• Communicate orally and/or written with customers on the status of any parts ordered and notify them upon delivery to the dealership
• Maintain inventory control and increase profit of dealership parts department
• Maintain store appearance and merchandise
• Operates cash register and follows established cash handling procedures
• Assist E-Commerce department with picking, packing, and/or shipping tasks as needed
• Use computer program to determine correct parts, pricing, and part availability
• Assist other parts counter staff when needed
• Assist in keeping parts area clean, stocked, and orderly

Parts Specialist Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of automotive/powersports parts is required
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent oral and written communication and decision-making skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand on feet continuously during working shift
• Frequent bending, walking, kneeling and reaching
• Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance
• Load and deliver merchandise to appropriate department
• Noise level is low to medium

Work Environment

• Occasional conditions include heat, cold, wetness, and humidity
• Frequently working with and around others
