Description

Individual Giving Manager

Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Individual Giving, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta (BBBSMA) is seeking a dynamic, strategic, goal-focused, and mission-driven Individual Giving Manager to join the department at its headquarters located in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Individual Giving Manager is responsible for identifying, cultivating, securing, and stewarding individual donors and volunteers to support the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Key responsibilities include: overseeing donor screening, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities and initiatives; creating and implementing strategic plans for specific donor segments (first time, volunteer, peer-to-peer, monthly, and mid-level donors); generating and delivering content for electronic and direct mail communications; oversight and support of social fundraising efforts; support of donor visits, site tours, and event; meeting key performance metrics; and reporting regularly on progress toward goals.

Requirements

  • Track record of personally identifying, cultivating, soliciting, securing, and stewarding individual donors.
  • Demonstrated success at securing gifts from individuals, implementing donor cultivation and recognition activities, and prospecting donors at the mid- and major gift levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to create compelling donor communications and content, including direct mail and electronic solicitations.
  • Clear understanding of moves management and donor segmentation.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and networking skills with large groups as well as with small groups and individuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to take primary responsibility for a diverse number of projects and to complete them in a timely manner with limited supervision.
  • Self-motivation and discipline to regularly set and achieve workplace goals.
  • Ability to build and present reports that demonstrate fundraising opportunities, progress, achievement, and projections.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Asana, and peer-to-peer fundraising platforms.

Qualifications


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years non-profit fundraising experience/sales
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM (minimum of two years)
  • Experience directly soliciting financial support from individuals and groups
  • Experience in recruitment and oversight of volunteers
  • Excellent solicitation and stewardship writing and speaking abilities
  • Track record of successful revenue generation and growth
  • Track record of success in project and process management

  • Required to occasionally work night and weekend events
