Big Blue Ocean LLC is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative

Job Description

Join our team at Big Blue Ocean! Become a key salesperson for fresh seafood sourced internationally from the best fishing fleets in the world. Your repeat customers will include distributors, wholesalers, food service and retail chains throughout the USA and Canada. The pace will always be challenging, and the opportunities limited only by your drive to find new markets and grow our product lines. Big Blue Ocean operates our own warehouse facility in Miami, Florida, with our always evolving, proprietary grading, trucking, pick up and distribution systems. This vertical integration gives our sales team a huge competitive advantage in the marketplace and the ability to provide unmatched service and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Generate high volume of sales to new and current customers while following price guidelines set by team
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Research accounts, identifying key players and market trends.
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects
  • Develop long term relationships with customers, identifying and servicing their needs.

Skills

  • Strong phone presence and experience making hundreds of calls per day
  • Experience working with CRM software
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Team player, collaborating through voice, zoom, chats, google docs, etc.
