Job Description
Position: Facilities Technician II
Department:Maintenance
Location: Houston
Type: Temp-Direct Hire
Salary:$17.50
Hours: 6:30 AM-5:30PM
- Assist in the overall maintenance and repairs of facilities (painting, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Must have extensive knowledge of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Change A/C filters as scheduled and maintain log.
- Complete work requests promptly
- Assist in car and cleaning of all campus-wide church vehicles.
- Ensure overall cleanliness of all facilities, Church, Bread of Life, and Temenus(sanctuary, gym, hallways, classrooms, meeting rooms, and restrooms).
- Maintain wood floors in the Center for Worship. Daily cleaning and maintaining of carpet and wood floors.
- Strip, wax, buff vinyl, and ceramic tile as scheduled.
- Assist in the security of the facilities.
- Maintain cleaning carts and ensure that mops/buckets are clean.
- Routine duties such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
- Handle and use various chemicals for cleaning.
- Clean elevator daily
- Assist in maintaining lawn and landscape.
- Handle and use various hand tools.
- Attend campus-wide and departmental staff meetings.
- Meet with Manager regularly.
- Notify the Manager of any problems with staff, members, contractors, or equipment.
- Seek to maintain harmonious relationships with the church members, staff and all other people with which contact is made.
- Other duties as assigned by Facility Manager.
- Duties subject to change at any time due to departmental changes and needs.

- Provide and maintain all general cleaning and repairs for Campus-wide facilities.
- To maintain a clean, safe, secure, and sparkling campus (Interior/Exterior) to allow facilities to be used for their intended purposes.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years prior experience required.
- Requires standing, stooping, and walking throughout the day
- Pushing and lifting up to100lbs
