We are currently seeking a Client Services Specialist to join BGBC’s Shared Services team, which consists of our Marketing, Recruiting, Training & Development, Operations, Information Technology, and Administrative Support professionals. This is a new role for our firm, created to meet the needs of our rapidly growing footprint throughout the international business community.
As a Client Services Specialist, you will be focused on all aspects of the client experience, including onboarding new clients, data and information requests, and transmittal of final deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Client Services Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
• Onboarding new clients to our firm, including information intake, document and records gathering, profile creation in our database, and coordination with our team of advisors;
• Scheduling and attending meetings (primarily virtual) for existing and prospective clients;
• Evaluating prospective client inquiries and coordinating next steps with our advisors;
• Drafting and editing quotes, proposals, and engagement letters for new/existing clients;
• Communicating directly with clients on behalf of our advisors;
• Delivering work product to clients;
• Maintaining detailed notes of all client interactions;
• Analyzing billing reports and tracking hours allocated to projects;
• Collaborating with our team of advisors to prepare for client calls, meetings, and presentations, and following up on action items as required;
• Supporting our team of advisors in all aspects of client service, generally.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated customer service approach (rooted in empathy) and 2 years of professional experience, preferably in the accounting or financial services industry;
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing to clients and co-workers;
• Exhibit effective time management, organization skills; conflict management, and attention to detail;
• Proficiency with Microsoft products (e.g., Office 365 applications), especially Excel;
• Independent, self-starter who thrives in rapidly changing environments.
