BG Signature is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team at the Whiskey Creek Hideout in Dania Beach, FL. We are located at 6503 N Ocean Drive inside Mizell-Johnson State Park. Our building is known as the 'Hideout' for a reason! Tucked away on the Whiskey Creek itself with the Ocean in view. Your little piece of paradise awaits!

The Assistant Manager will report directly to the Co-Executive Managers of the BG Signature organization.

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. OPERATIONS:

• Oversee facility operations
• Hands on cashiering and rental areas when needed
• Ensure all areas of operations quality, cleanliness, and safety are maintained
• Building Maintenance
• Ensure business quality standards are met
• Ensure all areas of operation are up to par with sanitation and safety supplies
• Submit all reports in a complete and timely fashion
• Delegating rental equipment repairs
• Store runs to pick up misc. items
• Oversee all departments including tours & retail in addition to any private vendors.

2. HR:

• Hold the team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed
• Develop and implement best practices to maximize team efficiencies
• Ensure staff is up to date with any new rules and regulations provided to us by the state
• Schedule and conduct interviews for possible new hires

3. ACCOUNTING:

• Staff and schedule appropriately to control labor costs
• Ensure Manager on Duty (“MOD”) reports are done daily, and bank deposits are made in a timely fashion
• Run Accounts Payable reports
• Ensure any approved invoice payments are sent out in a timely manner
• Ensure all special event or tour deposits are made in a timely and accurate manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Management Experience (2 Year Minimum)
• AA Degree Minimum or equivalent education
• Proficient in mathematical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft programs
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen & communicate effectively
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Be a team player
• Willingness to work outdoors in the elements
• Must be self-motivated
• Have a reliable work vehicle
• Exhibit a positive friendly and helpful attitude to our guests and crew members
• Experience in Parks & Recreation is a plus *
• Bilingual is a plus*

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $14.00 - $18.00/hour.
