Job Description
Our multi location Orthodontic Practice is seeking an experienced Ortho Assistant or RDA with Ortho Experience to join our team. We are looking for someone fun, energetic and is a team player. Our 4 practices locations are in Beverly Hills, Studio City, Downtown LA and Alhambra and you must be able to commute to all 4 locations.
Schedule: Part Time or Full Time
- The office is open Monday - Friday, and 1 Saturday a month
Compensation:
- $26-32/hr (based on experience)

For this position we prefer 2 years experience with Orthodontics (we would LOVE a certified Orthodontic Assistant), Invisalign and iTero.
RDA License and CPR card are required.
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) duties:
- Assist the doctor in all 4-handed dentistry procedures.
- Perform all RDA functions.
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Ensuring that all orthodontic instruments and equipment are properly sterilized before each use.
- Taking intraoral X-rays of patients’ mouths.
- Taking photographs of patients’ teeth to aid the Orthodontist in developing treatment plans and to document patient progress.
- Taking dental molds of patients’ teeth for the fabrication of customized mouth guards and retainers.
- Removing and replacing wires, coil springs, donuts, and elastic bands.
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and braces aftercare.
