As a Direct Support Professional, you will be an essential part of the reunification process by focusing on enhancing an enriching environment that cultivates the healthy development of a child, tracking the progress of the families you work with, setting and obtaining goals to accomplish a safe, supportive, and loving home.

Pay:
Without bachelor's degree - $19/hour
With bachelor's degree - $20/hour
Better Living provides a competitive compensation and benefit package including the employer paid benefits listed above, creating an actual hourly rate of $26.22 without a bachelor's degree and $27.35 with a bachelor's degree. Added possible benefits include incentive bonuses and employee referral bonuses.
Education/Certification Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) with two years of experience in a human service related position. Associate's degree and one year of experience or bachelor's degree in a human services field (preferred). Human services experience examples are social work, counseling/guidance, psychology, sociology, human development, mental health education or a closely related human service field.
Skills/Qualifications including but not limited to:
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Flexible Schedule. Evening and weekend hours are required. Weekly and daily schedules will vary depending on client availability - flexibility and an extended work week may be required to obtain full-time/30 hours.
Willingness to Travel: 50% (Required) - Company laptop at 30 days of full time employment to allow for work from home documentation time.
Work Location: In-home services - multiple locations
