Better Life Partners is Hiring a Remote People Experience Manager

Who we are:
At Better Life Partners, we provide what it takes to heal from addiction. Wherever. Whenever.
We focus on bringing high quality, accessible and value-based effective tech-enabled care to those with Addiction Disorders, especially those in communities for whom traditional care has been found lacking. We provide evidence-based, scalable, holistic healthcare while working alongside community-based organizations to ensure that our care is accessible, non-punitive and responsive to our communities. We build trusted relationships and healing spaces to nourish Belonging, Love, and Purpose.
Better Life Partners is a dynamic and forward-thinking organization committed to fostering a positive and engaging work environment that values diversity, innovation, and growth. We are seeking a People Experience Manager who will play an important role in promoting our company culture and ensuring the well-being and development of our team members (team members). Our position puts a different spin on a traditional Human Resources Manager and the People Operations Manager role. Ideally, our People Experience Manager will be a ‘jack of all trades’ with expertise in the core functions of traditional People Ops - performance management, talent acquisition, team member engagement, compliance, compensation, L&D, etc. but also has an extreme passion for creating a workplace where people thrive and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
The Role
What you will do:
  • Partnership and Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the Leadership Team, managers, and team members to create and maintain a positive and engaging work environment that encourages the full use of the team's diverse talents and abilities.
    • Work closely with People Ops and department leaders to design and implement a proactive, comprehensive onboarding program for new associates.
  • Training and Development:
    • Execute training, learning, and development plans that foster growth and innovation while scaling and strengthening our culture.
    • Identify training needs and ensure successful participation in professional development programs that align with the career goals of associates. Promote a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Pulse Monitoring and Action:
    • Monitor the overall pulse of the organization and suggest actions based on those learnings.
    • Analyze trends in exit interview data and use this information to improve the overall team member experience and identify potential areas for organizational improvement.
  • Performance and Employee Relations:
    • Help resolve performance and team member relations issues; address and manage fairly, thoroughly, and proactively.
  • Communication and Feedback Channels:
    • Establish effective communication channels to keep associates informed about company updates, policies, and events.
    • Encourage open and transparent feedback mechanisms.
  • Team Member Events and Activities:
    • Organize and coordinate team member events, team-building activities, and social gatherings to build relationships and promote a sense of camaraderie and connection within the organization.
  • Engagement and Satisfaction:
    • Provide support and act as a point of contact for team members and leadership to develop and implement engagement strategies to enhance team member engagement and satisfaction.
    • Conduct surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one conversations to gather feedback and insights from associates, using data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate New Employee Events:
    • Host new associates through various trainings and events.
  • Diversity and Inclusion:
    • Collaborate with the Diversity and Inclusion team to ensure that the workplace is inclusive and diverse, fostering a culture of respect and acceptance.
  • Employee Recognition:
    • Execute recognition programs, campaigns, and initiatives to drive team member engagement.
  • Employee Voice and Participation:
    • Champion the team member voice through team member survey support, the tracking of departmental action planning, facilitation of focus groups, or other initiatives.
  • Internal Communication and Awareness:
    • Connect front-line team members with the company culture and business strategy through the organization and execution of company-wide communication plans.
    • Leverage internal communication vehicles (including Pulse) to ensure team member awareness, understanding, and participation in programs and process improvement related to increasing engagement and building a best place to work.
  • People Ops Support:
    • May own or assist with other aspects of People Operations support including, but not limited to, talent acquisition, benefits administration, compensation, leave of absence management, learning and development, and legal and regulatory compliance.
You are a good fit if you have
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR, Employee Engagement, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of team member engagement, diversity and inclusion, and best practices in talent development.

  • High level of empathy and a commitment to creating a positive work environment.
  • Certification in People Ops or related field is a plus.
It will also be great if you have:
