As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our financial processes, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), commission calculations, month-end reporting, reconciliations, and expense reports. Your expertise will ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and contribute to the financial health and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire accounting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Lead the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment disbursements, and deposit activities.
• Calculate and review commissions and bonuses in accordance with company policies and agreements.
• Coordinate and execute month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Review and process expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and budgetary constraints.
• Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting
• An understanding of GAAP and financial principles.
• Experience with financial software and accounting systems (QuickBooks preferred, strong Excel skills).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
