Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility, undergoing AN EXCITING LARGE-SCALE RENOVATION UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT & ADMINISTRATION, seeking an RN Unit Manager to join our caring & dedicated nursing team! The RN Unit Manager, must be committed to our mission to deliver superior healthcare to our residents in a manner which promotes independence, preserves dignity, & strives to improve their quality of life.

• The RN Unit Manager prioritizes resident safety and monitors the resident care activity performance by staff on unit.
• Assumes responsibility/accountability for residents on assigned unit. Assists in establishing daily operations of resident care on unit and investigates incidents or accidents timely.
• Coordinates, implements, and evaluates the resident’s plan of care.
• Relates positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, and other facility staff
• Troubleshoot any concerns, provide support, and communicate to other members of the Interdisciplinary Team, residents, families, and/or staff pertinent information to assure resident/family needs are met
• Perform daily rounds and assessments of all residents on the unit

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Hold’s RN license that is current and good standing in New York
• Recent management or supervisor experience preferred, SNF a huge plus!
• Should be familiar with the NYS DOH regulations and survey process
• Must know the med pass process and documentation requirements in SNF
