WeCare at Foltsbrook is actively seeking a motivated Registered Nurse Unit Manager for our community in Herkimer, NY. Our Registered Nurse Unit Manager is a responsible to assure the optimal level of quality care is provided to our residents.

Job Description:

• Work by prearranged assignment.

• Accept changes and adapt to added assignments.

• May be responsible for medication room and narcotic keys.

• Make rounds frequently to check all residents.

• Accurate reporting and documentation of resident status and care needs information.

• Assist residents attending physician during visits and rounds.

• Assist in updating care plans as needed.

• Assign personnel and make staff adjustments according to needed coverage to meet resident needs.

• Any other duties assigned.

Shift:

Full – Time

Candidate Qualifications:

• Previous geriatric experience.

• Previous long term care experience.

• Previous supervisory experience.

• Licensed Registered Nurse in New York State.
