Job Summary: The Major Gifts Officer will play a critical role in increasing donor support and acts as an ambassador for Bay Cove Human Services and CASPAR across the community. Responsibilities include: new donor identification, cultivation and stewardship of existing donors to increase overall retention and giving levels, relationship management between donors and others on the board and staff who work with them and the ongoing integration of the Bay Cove and CASPAR brands. The Major Gifts Officer will also be responsible for leading appeal campaigns and supporting the direct response program.
The Major Gifts Officer reports to the Chief Advancement Officer, and will work closely and collaboratively with the Chief Advancement Officer, the Advancement Team, board members and other external stakeholders.
This is an exempt position.
