Road Map:

As the Manager, Content Marketing at Bestpass-Fleetworthy, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that drive brand awareness, engage our target audience, and support lead-generation efforts. You will play a pivotal role in creating compelling, high-quality content that educates, inspires, and influences key stakeholders within the trucking and transportation industry. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a creative storyteller, and a results-driven marketer with a passion for inspiring content.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the ideal candidate will lead a small team of internal and external content specialists to deliver long and short-form content that supports overall marketing goals.

What Your Ride Will Look Like:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, target audience insights, and industry trends
  • Create a wide range of engaging content assets, including blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, case studies, and presentations that showcase our thought leadership and expertise
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content marketing and B2B technology, and apply insights to continuously improve our content strategy and execution
  • Maintain brand consistency and uphold editorial standards by enforcing style guidelines, reviewing content for accuracy and quality, and ensuring messaging alignment across all touchpoints
  • Lead and mentor a team of content creators, including internal writers, agencies, and freelancers, to ensure content production meets deadlines, quality standards, and strategic objectives

Show Off What You Have:

  • Minimum 7 years in B2B Marketing with over 3 years in a Content Marketing leadership role
  • B2B technology experience required; additional B2C experience helpful
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling content for various audiences and formats
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, virtual environment
  • Experience with trucking/transportation industry a plus
  • Highly creative – ability to think outside the box to find new ways to generate interest and excitement among targeted audiences
  • Excellent attention to detail during the review of content and creative designs
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to achieve outstanding results
  • Highly motivated and passionate with the ability to adapt to change

Fuel Gauge:

This role is budgeted $85,000 to $95,000 per year to start.
