Best Western Premier Great Northern Hotel Helena is Hiring a Banquet setup Near Helena, MT
Are you passionate about customer service and willing to ensure guests have a great experience at our special events? If so, you would be an outstanding Banquet Server on our busy events team.
We need someone welcoming and attentive to serve food and drinks to guests, clear plates and silverware, and make sure any special guest needs or requests are taken care of.
Our banquet servers need to have a team-first approach since you'll be working closely with other servers, banquet captains, and kitchen staff to ensure events run smoothly.
Ideally, our next banquet server has experience in food service or hospitality. If this describes you, please apply as soon as possible!
Compensation : $20 - $28 hourly

Responsibilities :
- Ensure that you meet the needs and provide outstanding service for our guests for the entirety of any event
- Carry coffee pots, water pitchers, and other drinks around the room, refilling guests' cups and glasses as requested
- Take away plates from the table, replace utensils, and keep an eye out for spills or other special requests from guests
- Verify that you and your team members are following relevant food handling safety requirements
- Serve appetizers, main course meals, desserts, and other items, such as drinks, to banquet guests
- Setting up and tearing down events by setting tables, chairs, and audio-visual equipment according to the event specification
- Arranging and decorating the room with tablecloths, centerpieces, and other decor items as requested
- Ensuring that you meet the needs of and provide outstanding service for our guests when they are in the area
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and other team members
- Ability to work independently
Qualifications :
- We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
- Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and other team members
- Must exhibit communicative and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and other team members
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
