Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team at a hotel. The Breakfast Attendant will be responsible for ensuring that guests have a pleasant dining experience by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized breakfast area.
Duties:
- Set up the breakfast area before guests arrive, including arranging tables, chairs, and food displays
- Prepare and serve breakfast items such as coffee, tea, juice, pastries, and hot food items
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the breakfast area, including wiping down tables, replenishing condiments, and cleaning spills
- Monitor food levels and restock as needed throughout the breakfast service
- Clear tables and clean dishes as guests finish their meals
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering any questions they may have about the breakfast offerings or hotel amenities
- Handle guest requests or concerns promptly and escalate to management if necessary
- Follow all safety procedures and adhere to health regulations while handling food
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Strong guest service skills to provide a positive dining experience for guests
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus
- Ability to use knives and other kitchen tools safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is beneficial
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
