- Greet truck drivers upon their arrival at the transportation facility and provide a warm and professional welcome.
- Verify the accuracy of shipment information, including cargo type, quantity, and any special handling requirements.
- Inspect trucks for compliance with safety regulations, ensuring proper documentation, licensing, and certifications are up-to-date.
- Collaborate with drivers to complete necessary paperwork, including bills of lading, load manifests, and shipping labels.
- Input and maintain accurate data in the transportation management system (TMS) to track truck arrivals, departures, and shipments.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, such as dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and operations managers, to coordinate the timely loading and unloading of trucks.
- Monitor and manage truck traffic flow within the facility to prevent congestion and optimize operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized check-in area, ensuring it is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness among drivers and fellow employees.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay alert and focused for extended periods.
- Proficient computer skills for basic record-keeping and communication.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Steel toes.
- Able to lift 25lbs.
- $15.00 to $15.25 per hour.
- Benefits after 90 days.
- 1 year.
- 12-hour rotating shift schedule. One week consists of 4 working days, followed by the next week with 3 working days.
- 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM or 07:00 PM to 07:00 AM.
