Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance associate to join our team. As Maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations and ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of our facilities. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues - such as: repairing PTAC units, clogged drains / toilets, replace outlets and lightbulbs, replace plumbing fixtures, clean carpets and tiles, etc..
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance of equipment and systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance activities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or degrees are preferred
- Proven experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance
- Proficiency in HVAC systems, plumbing and carpentry work
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Solid project management skills to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
