Job Summary:
Seeking a compassionate and experienced nanny to care for two children, including one with special needs, in a part-time capacity with weekend and flexible weekday availability. The ideal candidate will engage actively with the children, fostering a nurturing and supportive environment while assisting with daily activities and providing essential care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of nannying experience, preferably with special needs children
- Flexible availability on weekdays and mostly weekends
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- CPR Certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide general childcare for two children, including one with special needs
- Prepare meals and snacks for the children
- Assist with daily routines and activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Transport children to and from appointments and activities
- Engage in interactive play and educational activities
- Light housekeeping tasks related to childcare
- Support personal hygiene and grooming needs as required
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience caring for special needs children
- Degree or coursework in child development or related field
- Ability to adapt to the unique needs and preferences of each child
- Patient, nurturing, and compassionate demeanor
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with parents and other caregivers
