We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our growing Project Management Office. We are looking for a hands-on, business proficient team player who can support our internal/external business areas. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for facilitating the standard feature delivery pipeline, being a central point of contact for product requirements, project execution, testing, and working closely with marketing, credit, legal, finance, compliance, product and operations. Projects may include initiatives to meet regulatory and compliance requirements, business and product expansions, enhancements to existing products, departmental initiatives and system enhancements to support operating efficiencies. 

What you'll be doing:

• Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value.
• Assigned to manage concurrent, complex programs with multiple work-streams of strategic importance to the organization.
• Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
• Work closely with all areas of the organization, including external resources, to ensure successful delivery against schedules.
• Execute Projects supporting the Lines of Business Pods
• Work with Product Managers to understand initiative resource needs to fully staff the project team.
• Ensure Product Manager(s) and project stakeholders are appropriately engaged and informed about the overall project's status, issues, risks, barriers and/or challenges.
• Facilitate a scrum of scrums to engage with impacted groups and pods for project dependencies
• Work with enterprise-wide support teams on non-technical project tasks to track overall project health
• Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to launch for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership.
• Expected to lead and influence the team by identifying opportunities and proposing solutions.

• Process & Tooling Governance
• Shape and enforce frameworks for process execution and monitoring
• Atlassian best practice documentation and recommendations
• Projects that do not involve support from a product team(s)
• Work with key departmental support areas to understand initiative resource needs to fully staff the project team.
• Ensure project stakeholders are appropriately engaged and informed about the overall project's status, issues, risks, barriers and/or challenges.
• Mentor and coach a team of project managers that will be responsible for several active initiatives across all business areas
• Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Enterprise Agile Project Management.

• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
• 5 years related experience successfully managing sophisticated multi-faceted projects.
• Experience using Atlassian toolset (Confluence, JIRA, etc) a plus.
• Comfortable interacting and engaging with colleagues from all levels of management across all business units and third-party development firms.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a project resource plan that ensures that the right people are in the right place doing the right things at the right time.
• Ability to quickly learn the objectives, structures, operations, and policies of a new business area.
• Demonstrated ability to engage both support areas and business partners to achieve target outcomes.
• Takes initiative, and is self-directed, while thriving in a setting requiring collaboration and teamwork for maximal efficiency and effectiveness
• Demonstrated leadership skills including self-direction, coaching, and mentoring, leading change through tooling or practices.
• High self-efficacy, highly motivated, well organized, capable of developing and executing a plan, and able to communicate status effectively.
• Previous financial services and/or fintech lending experience is a plus.
• Ability to work with remote teams.
