 Job Title: Construction Project Manager (exempt) 

Job Purpose

TheProject Manager’s role is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according tothe deadline while keeping within budget. This includes coordinating all teammembers as well as any third-party contractors in order to complete projectsaccording to plan. The Project Manager is also responsible for defining theproject’s objectives and overseeing quality control of the project.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintains adherenceto BPGS’s standards of safety
• Developspre-construction RFP package
• Conducts projectmeetings, and set milestones
• Establishes jobprocesses (RFI’s, submittals, and pay applications)
• Performs projectscheduling
• Ensures projectquality control
• Approves payapplications
• Manages the closeoutprocess
• Ensures fairtreatment of subcontractors at all times
• Negotiatessubcontract change orders
• Inputs and managesproject budget
• Ensures that requireddocumentation is filed
• Establishes overallproject logistics
• Formulates monthlyowner report

Qualifications

• Project aprofessional demeanor at all times through appearance and behavior.Promote positive customer relations.
• Must be able to workin a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle and prioritizemultiple tasks and demands.
• Must have excellenttime management skills and ability to work independently.
• Must be detailoriented and be accurate in composing and proofing materials.
• Must have strongcommunications skills both written and oral.
• Must have strong leadershipand decision making skills.
• Must be able tointeract and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Education

• High schooldiploma or equivalent required.
• Some collegestrongly preferred.

Experience

• 5 years ofexperience with a commercial general contractor
• Previous projectmanagement experience
• Ability to executemultiple project management efforts
• Proficient inMicrosoft suite
• New constructionproject experience required.

Physical Requirements

• Requiresstanding, walking, and sitting.
• Requiresfrequent operation of equipment.
• Frequentstretching and / or bending to access equipment, objects, etc.
• Frequentlifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
