Job Summary
The Infrastructure Security Division (ISD), Office for Bombing Prevention (OBP) mission is to protect life and critical infrastructure by building capabilities within the public and across the private and public sectors to prevent, protect against, respond to, and mitigate bombing incidents. OBP manages a focused portfolio of activities to coordinate national and intergovernmental bombing prevention efforts; enhance C-IED capabilities though requirements and gap analysis; and increase Improvised Explosive Device (IED) awareness and information sharing among Federal, State, local, and private sector partners.
BMA is seeking a Project Manager III to support OBP’s mission and provide contract management for administrative, analytical, and technical support responding to CISA, ISD and OBP Front Office tasks such as researching, coordinating responding, establishing, maintaining, and updating task-tracking tools.
Clearance Requirements
There is a Department of Homeland Security Secret clearance requirement for this position.
Required Skills & Certifications
BMA’s Project Manager is responsible for all work performed under the contract, including quality, schedule and cost and, as a minimum, has the following experience, expertise and qualifications:
15 years of Infrastructure Protection/Infrastructure Security experience.
10 years previous experience performing and/or managing administration services.
7 years’ experience working within an Executive Secretariat Team.
5 years’ experience serving in a Supervisory/Managerial capacity and supervising and/or leading a team of 10 or more employees.
Experience and knowledge with Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) Programs, Trainings, and Outreach.
Experience in completing and submitting government deliverables to the COR.
Demonstrated business/organizational skills with success in achieving financial goals.
Experience managing multiple simultaneous distributed functions, including client, customer and stakeholder relationships.
Provides technical guidance to the project team and customers and stakeholders
Plans, organizes, coordinates and directs the production of all contract support activities, including staffing, project planning, project financials, and staff direction and oversight.
As appropriate, all services can be combined within the 15 years’ experience.
Desired Skills & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Project Management Professional (PMP®) from Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent.
Improvised Explosive Devise Awareness and Safety Procedures Course.
US Military approved C-IED Certification courses (9E-F59/950-F38, Advanced IED Disposal Course, etc.)
