Job Title: RN Progressive Care (PCU)

Job Summary:

The RN Progressive Care (PCU) is responsible for providing specialized nursing care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. This role requires a high level of critical thinking and skill to monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
• Administering medications and treatments
• Collaborating with healthcare team members
• Providing education to patients and their families
• Implementing and evaluating patient care plans
• Responding to emergencies and changes in patient status
• Utilizing advanced medical equipment and technology

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience (preferably in a PCU setting)
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Commitment to providing quality patient care
