Red Cedar School is Hiring a Classroom Teacher Near Bristol, VT

Red Cedar School is seeking a Primary Teacher for our K - 2 multi-age group. Red Cedar is a K - 8 independent school of 50 students in Bristol, Vermont with a culture of respect and inclusion. This is a full-time position that involves serving as the core primary level teacher, with responsibility for teaching language arts and math, and leading integrated, project-oriented activities in social studies, science and the arts, and facilitating outdoor activities. The ideal candidate will have some experience working with primary age students in a school setting, with a background and some experience in supporting the beginning reading process. A master’s degree in education is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will also have experience in outdoor education, or will at least be an outdoor-oriented individual willing to be trained in facilitating a range of outdoor activities.
