Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for providing basic nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary objective will be to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients by assisting with their medical needs and providing emotional support.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administering medication and monitoring patient vital signs.
2. Assisting with patient assessments and developing care plans.
3. Performing wound care and dressing changes.
4. Providing basic patient education on health care maintenance.
5. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient needs are met.
6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
7. Assisting with procedures and treatments as directed by the healthcare team.
8. Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate care.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
2. Current LPN license in the state of practice.
3. CPR certification.
