Method Co. is in search of a Maintenance Engineer at The Quoin Hotel in Wilmington, DE. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of equipment, machinery, and facilities to support our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Manage facility maintenance activities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and infrastructure.
• Enforce safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
• Collaborate with other departments to support operational goals and initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction through improved maintenance practices.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform troubleshooting.
• Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience in maintenance engineering or a related role.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or HVAC systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with maintenance management software and tools is a plus.
