Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a diverse population of patients. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established protocols and policies. Your primary goal will be to promote patient well-being and recovery in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans.

2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

3. Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs.

4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.

5. Educate patients and their families on health management and recovery strategies.

6. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

7. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards.

8. Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.

2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

3. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Med Surg or a related clinical setting.

4. BLS and ACLS certification required.

5. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.

8. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
