Job Title: Nursing Manager/Director

Job Summary:

The Nursing Manager/Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department within a healthcare facility. They provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, ensure quality patient care, and uphold regulatory standards.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures

2. Manage nursing staff schedules and assignments

3. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff

4. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care

5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals

6. Handle patient complaints and resolve conflicts

7. Monitor and analyze nursing department budgets

8. Stay current on industry trends and best practices

9. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

10. Participate in committees and workgroups to improve patient care

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Master's degree preferred
• Current RN licensure
• Previous experience in a nursing leadership role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
• Problem-solving skills
