Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machines and mechanical and electrical equipment to diagnose the source of the problem.
• Perform repairs and upgrades with hand tools and/or power tools using safe work practices.
• Replace broken or defective parts.
• Perform calibrations on equipment according to the written procedure.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment repairs.
• Conducts housekeeping activities in the work area.
• Perform other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED
• Positive attitude & good work ethic
• Must be able to work in team environment
• Must be able to work 12-hr rotating shift schedule (day & night shift)
• Must be able to work required OT on short notice
• Lockout/Tagout and safety knowledge/training required.
• Multi-skilled/cross-trained in electrical/mechanical/hydraulic & pneumatic required.
• Working knowledge of PLC systems and Drives preferred.
• Experience with maintenance databases preferred.
• 5 YEARS previous experience preferred, printing experience a plus
