Essential Functions

• Use hand tools (e.g., pick, shovel, bed edgers, trimmers, cultivators, pruners, loppers, blowers, weed whippers, chainsaws, pole pruners and ladders)
• Help maintain the overall look and feel of our clients’ properties by using practical and proven approaches for horticultural excellence
• Managing seasonal upkeep of properties by manually weeding, using landscape tools and other methods
• Installing annuals, weeding landscape beds, trimming shrubs, pruning ornamentals
• Lead the work activities of a full team
• Completes assignments within labor goals while ensuring all job quality performance expectations are met in accordance with company standards
• Thinks ahead and completes tasks efficiently within budget, production rates, and timelines

Qualifications

• Chauffeurs License or ability to obtain before first day of employment
• 2-3 years of landscape experience
• Must be able to lead team and communicate with clients as needed.
• Must know how to use basic landscape and relevant tools
• Knowledge of seasonal clean-ups, garden bed care, annual flower plantings, bed edging, and mulching
• Must be able to follow direction
• Must be able to work both independently and in team environment
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Be willing to learn
