The Data Entry Specialist (Seasonal) Role:

Expected duration: 4-6 months

The Data Entry Specialist position reports to the Operations Manager in charge of our Fire, Sprinkler, Security, and Communications departments. The Data Entry Specialist works predominantly with the Fire and Sprinkler teams to create an accurate equipment inventory via various software formats including but not limited to Microsoft Excel. Berkshire Systems Group, Inc. provides the Data Entry Specialist with a company-issued laptop, a vibrant work environment, top-notch co-workers and all necessary tools and training to complete the job duties. Who You Are:

A computer savvy, highly motivated team player with a passion for organization who would like to contribute to the growth and success of our company within the Life Safety industry. You are someone who is a natural communicator and able to develop common sense solutions for tracking/inventorying equipment. The position entails:

• Downloading, saving, and converting file types
• Using various software formats including Microsoft Excel to accurately categorize and inventory equipment
• Partnering with our various departments, especially Fire and Sprinkler, to determine data entry needs
• Delivering accurate, quality, common sense data entry solutions

Where You'll Be Located:

• You will be based out of our Corporate office in Reading, PA

Requirements

 What You Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Typing speed of 40 words per minute required
• Proficiency in the creation and organization of data sheets and associated reference documents using provided materials required
• Intermediate to Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
• Intermediate to Advanced level proficiency in office technology, such as laptops, copiers, scanners, email and desk phones required
• Detail-oriented focus for accurate data entry required
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to determine, follow up with, and report out on departmental data entry needs required
• Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills required
• Impeccable organizational skills required
