Offering a medical assistant position with cosmetic dermatology practice in Manhattan. Office hours are Monday-Tuesday 9a-5p, Wednesday 9a-430p, Thursday 9am-4pm, Friday 9am to 4:00pm. Third Saturday of the month.

Requirements: Must be a team player, friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical duties under supervision of Physician
• Perform clerical functions as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain awareness of facility activities and policies and procedures.
• Updating medical histories, room and prepare patients for various types of procedures, giving necessary instruction and keeping schedules flowing smoothly.
• Educate patients as directed by physician or provider, including using take-home instruction sheet when applicable.
• Assist provider in cosmetic procedures
• Assuring cleanliness and orderliness of examination rooms
• Restocking rooms and supplies
• Checking equipment for proper functioning
• Clean all instruments and equipment used a manner accepted by recognized standards of practice
• Perform clerical duties, upon request if the front desk needs additional assistance
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information
• Other duties as assigned.
