Medical Assistant, Day Dermatology & Aesthetics

Day Dermatology & Aesthetics is a high profile, award-winning, Dermatology and aesthetics clinic located in the heart of New York. We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our amazing team! You will be passionate about creating exceptional experiences for our patients, passion for learning, have excellent communication skills, love using different computer programs, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties Include:

• Patient intake

• Obtaining a thorough and accurate history

• Scribing (required)

• Assist Physician with injectables, minor procedures, pre and post-treatment care

• Charting of all treatment notes

• Patient photography

• Manage patient flow for optimal patient experience and team efficiency

• Patient Education on services and skin care products

• Reconstitution of medicines

• Inventory and restocking of supplies

• Clean and sterilize instruments and supplies

• Provide support to the medical staff before, during and after procedures

• Management of post treatment care and patient follow-up

A qualified candidate must have the following:

• Two (2) years experience working in medical practice required. (Dermatology, Plastics or Aesthetics strongly preferred)

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates or bachelors degree strongly preferred.

• Highly motivated, a positive “can-do attitude” with high-energy

• Caring and compassionate with excellent patient service skills

• Possess an eagerness to learn and ability to learn rapidly

• Ability to multi-task with high degree of accuracy and efficiency

• Excellent computer skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong familiarity with social media

• Ability to work as a team player

• Punctual and reliable

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
