UD Science Teacher:
Berkeley’s Upper Division is seeking a full-time Life Sciences teacher. The successful
candidate will teach four or five sections of biology (Introductory and Honors-Introductory
with Lab). The candidate should be comfortable with science laboratory techniques, as
well as show enthusiasm for developing new laboratories including quantitative biology,
computer-based sensor laboratories, and biochemistry. The candidate will also be expected
to run a biology-related club.

Compensation and Benefits:
The appointment will begin August 2022 and is a full-time position with full benefits. The
compensation package will be very competitive nationally and commensurate with
experience, degree attainment, and the national independent school and college markets.
