Position Overview:

The Internal Payroll Training Specialist provides training and support to our Payroll/HCM team members. This individual ensures consistency across the department by providing standardized training materials, communicating changes and enhancements to the team plus updating system documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate system training and support to new team members.
  • Provide guidance in the payroll software and make recommendations for system changes/enhancements.
  • Work with department leadership to develop and deliver successful training programs and documentation.
  • Regularly review the model company and recommend improvements that align with the training program.
  • Assess UKG release notes and provide applicable training on changes and enhancements.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the department for payroll learning-related discussions.
  • Identify the various stakeholders requiring additional UKG training, perform a needs assessment of the identified stakeholders and develop a training strategy / approach for each.
  • Continuously determine areas of improvement and work with team to optimize the training program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years’ experience in HCM systems
  • 2 years’ experience in Payroll processing
  • Knowledge of HR operations, systems, policies, and procedures
  • Prior UKG support/implementation experience
