The Client Onboarding Specialist will review and process all referrals for Outsourced Accounting & Bill Pay. This position is the face of the department, fostering / developing relationships with Wealth Managers, Tax Directors, and Clients.

The ideal candidate detail oriented, efficient, self-starting, independent, and a team player. The role requires someone who possesses critical thinking skills, has excellent interpersonal skills, and is a high-level multi-tasker.

JOB DUTIES

  • Conduct discovery calls with prospects to share our scope of services and gather information
  • Maintain waitlist / on hold clients; communicate with referring team
  • Meet with clients to understand personal / small business accounting needs
  • Clearly communicate Outsourced Accounting & Bill Pay service offerings
  • Gather necessary client information to estimate fees
  • Set timeline expectations with the client review steps to complete onboarding and begin services
  • Bring client onboard QBO, Salesforce, Gusto, etc.
  • Communicate closely with assigned Accountant and facilitate client introduction

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and efficient with proven time-management skills
  • Critical thinker, problem solver
  • 2 years accounting experience or bachelor’s degree in accounting

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • QuickBooks Online experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • An ability to review data reports and complete required reconciliations
