Benvenuto's Italian Grill-Radisson Hotel is Hiring a Restaurant Supervisor Near Fond du Lac, WI

Position Summary: Shifts will be from 10:30 AM -7 PM or 5 PM-2 AM and Full-Time.

The Restaurant Supervisor will train, plan and manage the operations of the restaurant department. To achieve guest, employee and owner satisfaction and quality service while achieving and exceeding guest expectations in accordance with all Wisco and franchise standards. Develop a marketing and advertising plan to increase sales.

Essential Functions & Tasks:

  • Implement and manage all Wisco and franchise programs to ensure compliance; including, safety and sanitary regulations, all federal, state and local regulations to ensure optimal levels of quality service and hospitality are provided to the guests.
  • Maintain Benvenuto’s standards and quality as per our franchise agreement.
  • Manage the maintenance and sanitation of food areas, including equipment to ensure quality food and service in compliance with regulations.
  • Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction and quality.
  • Execute and promote accident prevention programs to minimize liabilities and related expenses.
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Participate in task force and committees as required.
  • Complete other tasks assigned.
  • Know all emergency and safety procedures. Is aware of accident prevention policies and makes staff aware of these procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Work within a team concept as well as individually. Must be guest service orientated and have a keen attention to detail.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of the principles and practices with in the Food/Beverage/Hospitality profession. This includes knowledge required for management of people, complex problems, food and beverage management.
  • Must understand the strategic positioning of the hotel and how the products and services offered compare within the competitive market for targeted market segments.
  • Must have the ability to prepare revenue forecast for the department revenue numbers based on historical figures, what is on the books and the impact of special promotions.
  • Must understand how P & L is prepared and the line items impacted by the department and how to impact results.
  • Must have the skills in developing and adhering to department budget.
  • Must understand various cuisines and wines, how menus are developed and pricing guidelines and how each can improve results.
  • Be able to make correct decisions and complete programming and technology tasks as needed.
  • Must have complete knowledge of the POS system and be able to perform programming changes as needed.
  • Must be able to perform the following: standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, bending, kneeling and climbing.
  • Flexibility in scheduling including weekends and Holidays.
  • Maintaining a high level of quality, service and cleanliness.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions. Perform required job functions under limited supervision and use time efficiently.
