Job Summary:
As a Pool Manager, you will be responsible for the various tasks of the daily operation of Bennington Pool Services. This will include the overseeing and management of lifeguards and gate guards, daily communication to all staff, managing and creating schedules, and traveling to assigned pools, and other misc tasks/administrative work assigned to help the department/organization as a whole.
The Pool Manager is also responsible for maintaining and following all Bennington policy and procedures established in the Handbook.
Main Responsibilities/Tasks:
Communication: Must be able to communicate politely and professionally with all guards on a daily basis. You will speak with each employee individually to gather all information, scheduling preferences, and send informational updates.
Scheduling: You will be responsible for creating employee schedules for 2023 summer.
Clock ins/confirmations: You will be responsible for confirming all lifeguarded shifts and watching all employee clock ins to ensure they are onsite for their scheduled shift.
Lifeguard: In certain situations (guard call out/no show, limited availability or staffing shortages) - you will be responsible for covering the pool/shift until coverage is found.
Onsite:
Ensure all guards have and are wearing proper uniform
Guard has all necessary equipment to be successful for their shift
Pool is blue, clean, and clear
Chemical levels are checked and balanced
Pool has all required equipment - in good condition
All other assigned onsite tasks
Requirements:
Active/Current Drivers License (and transportation)
Active/Current Lifeguard Certification
Maintain confidentiality and privacy as required by regulations and company policy
Punctual and professional behavior
Familiarity with Google and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent customer service skills
