As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients as well as maintaining and repairing pool equipment. To ensure success as a pool service technician, you should have excellent knowledge of swimming pool equipment and maintenance, be able to work with hazardous chemicals, and interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner.

The Service technician is also responsible for maintaining and following all Bennington policy and procedures established in the Handbook.

Job Responsibilities:

• Pool Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep pools clean and safe. This includes cleaning, vacuuming, and skimming the pool to remove debris, checking and adjusting water chemistry, and inspecting equipment for proper operation.
• Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feeders to ensure they operate efficiently and reliably.
• Chemical Management: Handle and administer pool chemicals safely and accurately, maintaining water balance and sanitation levels within industry standards.
• Customer Service: Interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner. Address their concerns and questions, provide guidance on pool maintenance, and report any issues or recommended repairs.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of pool maintenance and service activities, including chemical levels, equipment inspections, and service reports.
• Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to pool-related emergencies, such as leaks or equipment failures, and take appropriate actions to mitigate potential risks.
• Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have an active/valid drivers license and reliable transportation to the Bennington HQ office in King of Prussia where you will start and end your work day.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience in pool maintenance and service is preferred but not mandatory. We are willing to train the right candidate.
• Knowledge of pool equipment, water chemistry, and maintenance techniques is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
