JOB SUMMARY:

***TEMPORARY - 1 - 2 MONTH ASSIGNMENT***

BendPak is seeking a meticulous, proactive Data Entry Clerk to enhance our Digital Marketing Department, particularly within the Brand Assets and Rich Content Development team. This specialized role involves interpreting complex technical drawings, accurately extracting, and entering data into MS Excel Spreadsheets that will be uploaded into our Parts Information Manager (PIM) system, and ensuring the integrity and consistency of product information. The ideal candidate will combine technical acumen with an analytical mindset, displaying exceptional attention to detail and a collaborative spirit to drive our product data's quality and accessibility.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Technical Data Interpretation: Thoroughly interpret and analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to extract critical measurements and product specifications. Understand and apply relevant engineering concepts and terminology.

· Data Management and Integrity: Input, update, and maintain product data within various systems, ensuring high levels of accuracy and consistency. Employ advanced spreadsheet techniques and data validation methods to optimize data accuracy and efficiency.

· Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Actively engage with engineering, production, sales, and customer service departments to collect and validate comprehensive product information. Use effective communication strategies to clarify and request data, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

· Quality Control: Regularly review data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting inconsistencies or errors. Implement and adhere to strict data management protocols and standards.

REQUIREMENTS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Technical Drawing, Engineering Technology, Information Management, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), MS Teams, Zoom, general internet use, and Windows-based software and databases.
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 60 WPM with 100% accuracy.
  • Deep knowledge of technical drawings and data with the ability to translate complex technical information into accessible formats.

  • Required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, touch, see, and hear; occasionally operate machinery.
  • Must regularly be required to sit, talk, hear, and have regular use of hands and fingers to operate mouse, keyboard, telephone, and any other computer-related equipment.
  • Must have vision abilities to operate computer and phone systems.
